Jacer is very active in the community.  She volunteers 5-10 hours per week with Books 2 Prisoners, Volunteer Illinois Projects (where she rotates volunteering at the Women’s Center), CASA Central (a nursing home),  and with the Israeli Fund for Holocaust survivors through the Hillel.  Jacer also started a scholarship fund through a microfinance initiative for underprivileged students in Croatia during her junior year in college.  This has since been expanded to India and China.  She spearheaded a trip to China this winter break to do research on developing techniques in HR and took students from the organization she created, Minority Leaders in Business Politics and Health.
